BEAUTY & THE BEAST
1700’S France Stylization
A more historical take on the Beauty and the beast fairytale. Set in the 1700’s during the Rococo era in Paris, my aim was to have a more accurate style on the dress, such as the silhouette and skirt type and ornamentation, while keeping a fantastical design with the color palette.
The illustration was sketched traditionally and then drawn digitally. Making sure the goldwork and trim are as detailed as the era.
